Supervisory authorities are obliged to report on how they exercise their supervisory powers and implement their priorities in order to preserve the transparency rule. For this purpose, each supervisory authority is required by Article 59 of GDPR to draw up an annual report on its activities. The report may include a list of types of infringement notified and types of measures taken in accordance with Article 58(2) of GDPR. The reports should be transmitted to the national parliament, the government and other authorities for the purpose of evaluation. They should be also made available to the public, to the Commission and to the European Data Protection Board.
